The Future for Ukraine center residents welcomed two very special visitors – Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska and Miss World CEO Julia Morely – when they were in Warsaw. The Ukrainian children at the center warmly welcomed them with song and dance. 

“I have been so touched by the personal welcome from the mothers and children today, and we are proud to be a part of such a wonderful program,” Karolina wrote on Instagram. 

The center offers severely traumatized Ukrainian children and their mother safe accommodation, food, educational and psychological support to cope with the losses and horrors they have suffered as a result of the war in Ukraine. 

Specially trained staff respond to the needs of the children to facilitate their way back into everyday life, including participating in school and educational programs. 

Karolina and Julia were told about the Future for Ukraine last year and immediately offered to help.

“This is why it means so much to see our dreams realized for the Children of Ukraine,” Karolina wrote. “I have been so touched by the personal welcome from the mothers and children today, and we are proud to be a part of such a wonderful program.”
