About the Pallottines

The Pallottines are an association of goodwill around the world who are dedicated to the service of their fellow man. The 2,300 members work collaboratively with local organizations to meet their mission of helping the needy in more than 53 different countries.

Founded in 1835 by Saint Vincent Pallotti, the Pallottines are called to charity, patience, humility, zeal, and love. During his life, St. Vincent offered his resources and his life to the service of those in need.

In that vein, the Pallottines collaborate with individuals and organizations to treat those in need with care and loving concern with the goal of creating a better world through the spirit of charity. The Pallottines work with the poor, the sick, the marginalized; founding institutions of charity and shelters and ministering to soldiers, workers, students, and prisoners.

At the core of the Pallottines’ mission is the sharing of resources, the spirit of service to others, and perseverance.

In Warsaw, the Pallottines are offering a wide range of support to the women and children who fled Ukraine after the war broke out. The Future for Ukraine center is one of the first long-term solutions being constructed by the Pallottine Order to provide a ray of hope to those who have lost everything.

The center will host hundreds of families, in private, two-room apartments with a bath and small kitchenette.

In addition to providing a home for those who fled war-torn Ukraine, the Pallottines ensure everything is in place to settle in as quickly as possible to their new environment in Poland.

Their first focus is the children, ensuring they can continue to attend school, providing some sense of normalcy. Therapists are also on site to provide the mothers, children, and grandmothers with mental support. Career counselors have been secured to help the adults adapt to their new environment. Most importantly, the residents have a sense of safety and security.

The Ukrainian Refugee Project has partnered with the Pallottines to help provide these essential services to those who made the heartbreaking decision to flee their homes, leaving the lives they once knew behind.

If you would like to help the Pallottines in their mission to help these women and children persevere, please consider donating to the Ukrainian Refugee Project. 100% of all donations are used for the building and support of housing for the Ukrainian refugees.
